Excelsa Biscuits Cookie Press

I bought this a year ago, used it for the first time about 6 months ago and it did not work with the dough or icing. It kept pushing through back up between the cylinder and ‘plate’ pushing down the dough or icing. I just tried it again hoping it was just the first time use and that I had to get used to it, but again it was not working properly. The press did not press properly, pressing 10 biscuits of which 2 may be useful, so had to press over and over again. Resulted in taking hours to get one batch done. At times the dough even pushed the bottom screw on lid (if I can call it that) and the shaping disk completely out which obviously is not how this should operate. Unfortunately I most definitely will not recommend this cookie press, especially not for the more expensive price you are paying for it. I expected it being steel to be of higher quality and robust, but that had not been my experience at all.
