Diamond Piece Glass Dinnerware Set - Service for 6 (Set of 6)

NOT Microwave safe! Skin burn! Microwave burn! This plate set is clearly marked as 'microwave safe'. We put the red, blue and silver bowls in the microwave and the first two were fine. However, the silver bowl basically caught on fire/scorched. The coating melted off the bottom of the plate burning the plate and the rotating glass plate in the microwave. Thank goodness it's only a 900watt microwave and was only about 30 seconds. When it was taken out to add more food to it, my partner touched it and it took a split second for him to be burned bright red on his fingers - they weren't ok until the following day. The other bowls were NOT that hot and it was the same amount of time. This is really scary! What if that had been a child who had reached in for the plate? Or a higher watt microwave or even longer left in there for reheating a meal - 2 or 3 minutes? Absolutely do NOT buy these if you are looking for microwave safe. They are pretty but otherwise the description is absolutely disappointing/scary. I definitely don't trust them in the oven now, either. Pics are bowl from inside, bowl from outside and the microwave plate burn. Also both a screenshot from the desktop and mobile sites showing it clearly saves "Microwave safe".

Glorious colours and website doesn’t start but it’s microwave safe too !

This was the perfect dinner service to brighten up our new grey kitchen and match the colourful splashback that we had chosen. Each member of the family, of course, took ownership of one of the colours and now refuses to eat from anything other than 'their' colour...
