Not impressed with my copper pans - I ordered them back in October 2020 and they are already starting to lose their coating. I never put them in the dishwasher and always wash carefully by hand in hot water. I use sufficient amount of oil so that I don’t burn the inside. If someone could get in touch regarding warranty that would be great.

I thought it was ominous when I collected the parcel from next door and the box was marked 'wire rack', not what I expected at all, but let's see. Opened the box to see the pans in a box clearly way too big for the pans and alarm bells rang. Each pan was bubble wrapped very well so did a pan by pan unwrap and check to see if there was any transport damage, luckily not. One thing that did catch my eye was the smallest pan did not have the plastic shrink wrap on it and again I was suspicious as to why. Only closer inspection, the pan itself is without fault, no dings dents or indications of use but I wasn't convinced. My instinct was telling me this set was probably a returned set. I waited until daylight and did a forensic inspection and I think I might be right. There are marks on the base that go along with induction hob use, somebody tried these and as a lot of the comments say, didn't work with their particular hob. There are 3 marks and what looks like a place where someone has used wire wool or similar to remove something from the base. At first I was a bit miffed and wanted to return them and have a moan and a shout at Wayfair but I sat down and thought, does it really make any difference? The bit that is used is going to be the part in the flame when I use them on my gas hob anyway and to go to the trouble of returning them would be just cutting my nose off to spite my face. So I'm keeping them. That aside, they are really nice looking pans, beautiful colour and seem to be sturdy and well made. Handles are soft and they have a certain weight to them. Just what I was looking for. The information card attached to each pan has really good information about protecting the surface, and a reminder that these pans need to be used on the correct ring size and with less heat than normally used due to them having copper qualities, I suspect a lot of people miss this bit and then complain that they burned or the flame ruined the outside of the pan. So 3 to of 5, would have been 4 if my set was brand new 'completely' unused but it is what it is. Mildly happy, just wary now that Wayfair are a bit sneaky in sending out stuff that are clearly returns, no problem with that but really they should have said so.
