GreenPan Elite Slowcooker 6L

Haven't had the slow cooker long but instantly realise it is a big step up from my previous one (which to be fair was half the price). The quality of the pan seems good and I suspect will last a long time without degradation. Whereas my previous slow cooker had options of sauté, low/high and warm the GreenPan cooker does allow more manipulation of temperature - and time. Early day but impressed so far.

Very pleased so far with my green pan slow cooker. I have tried roast chicken and roast beef as well as beef casserole with dump!ings and chicken curry. Find it very useful to be able to saute the food without using a separate pan. I am learning each time i use it.

I am even more pleased with this slow cooker than I thought I would be. It cooks beautifully and is extremely easy to clean. I love the finish on the pan, grease just slides off! The sear function is brilliant and I cang wait to use the steam function. Looks really good on the worktop, even though I'm not a fan of leaving stuff on the worktop I might just leave this out it looks so smart. Easy to use, Superb piece of kit, thank you.

Great product. Being able to cook of the meat in the same device prior to slow cooking is great. Feels sturdy and made really well. We think this is a great replacement for our outgoing slow cooker. Delivery was fast and we were kept up to date through the process

The functions are very easy to use. Sri Lankan curry turned out better than previous hob results because the flavours were locked in and the juice was thicker. Used the Low setting for 2.5hrs and it was ready. Very impressed. Was able to put in all ingredients and leave it to cook and tackle the day’s to-do list! This particular slow cooker is unique because the machine can heat your food whilst you are serving. It will know the lid is off, which is when food can cook quickly, but this clever machine heat your food so your creations are still hot. Uniquely, you can adapt the temperatures to ensure the food is ready over a longer or shorter period of time. The quality throughout is awesome. It looks and it’s easy to move because it’s lightweight yet sturdy. The plan is to try the steamer functions and lots of other recipes. The vegan cawl soup turned out to be a winner with chicken style chunks from well known supermarkets thrown in and plenty of garlic! It’s rare to be able to buy real quality these days. But this machine impresses me more and more every day. It definitely takes the pressure off when cooking. Just prep and away you go. Recommend curries… as the flavours are superbly managed in this machine. The buttons and display are straightforward. The only negative is that the free cookbook was too big on the animal meat. It was a turn off. But the machine itself is probably the best on the market in my experience and opinion. Enjoy!
