Ring pull was wedged on central lid knob when eventually removed mechanism didn’t work. Also the cord is not metal as it says in the product information

Die Salatschleuder macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, aber der kurze Verwendungszeitraum lässt noch kein endgültiges Urteil insbesondere in puncto Haltbarkeit (Kunststoffteile und Seil) zu. Ein Kritikpunkt: mir fehlt eine rutschhemmende Beschichtung an der Schüsselunterseite, alternativ ist eine separate Unterlage wünschenswert! Ansonsten wie gesagt: sieht stabil aus und funktioniert einwandfrei.
