Ken Hom Carbon Steel Non Stick Wok Excellence

The first Time are use this wok the food stuck to it and got burnt. As a result the lining has come off and the food sticks all the time. Complete waste of money wish I’d never bought it.

Having the small handle on the other side is really helpful especially when it’s full and quite heavy it evens the load. Non stick works great and allows you to chuck around the contents easily with it being a deep wok. Would definitely get another of these pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using an other high end wok and was interested in this new wok when I saw it. When it arrived I was very impressed by the quality and size. In the first instance, the packaging was a little hard to get off, and due to the ridgit consistency I was concerned it may damage the pan. The first thing I cook with it was a Korean hot and spicy dish, which was quite sticky in its form. The pan heated up nice and fast and I was happy with it throughout the cooking. The side handle is very handy indeed. I found the wok very easy to wash up and dry. I know it says you can dishwash, but I prefer to hand wash my pots and pans. Even with the stickiness of dinner, it came off easily and was easy and quick to dry. I also think the one year warranty is a nice touch and would encourage people to buy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a chicken and black bean stir fry for 4 on this. I found the wok held its heat well and didn't need to use a lot of oil. It is very easy to use and one of the better woks I have had over the years. Well balanced when cooking due to the flat base. I did find the front lifting handle of the wok became very warm though. Although it is dishwasher safe, I washed it with warm soapy water and dried it with paper towel. All in all, a delicious meal from a well made wok.

Nothing at all stuck to it and it was the easiest item I've ever had to wash up, with the size of it too I managed to make a stir fry for 4 of us rather than 2 at a time, has definitely made things easier for me! It is quite heavy which isn't a problem for me but may be for those that need lightweight pans etc, all in all this is worth purchasing as it's great
