KitchenAid Semi Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder

A great home machine with very quiet operation. Initial setup was unclear, so had a leaking reservoir for a while, til I watched the quick start video I had to search for on YouTube and found out I needed to prime the coffee machine prior to use - but the quick start guide made no mention of this.

Love it. Upgraded to the Kitchen Aid with grinder. Functions like my previous. Well made. Looks great. Large water holder. One press grind strong steam from wand.

Fantastic bean to cup machine. Solid and reliable. We bought to replace a KitchenAid nespresson pod machine which we’ve had ten years. This is easy tip use once you’ve got your dosing methods set up.

Machine has been continuously leaking from the connection between the water tank and machine body.

The machine looks modern and smart and blends into the kitchen more than its competitors. Functionally however we’ve been left disappointed mainly on two fronts. The portafilter does not fit in the machine well and often takes several attempts to try before it connects into place. The steaming wand doesn’t have much movement so can be tricky to use and I’m disappointed that you hav to use it independently of the coffee pour and often have to wait for the thermometer light to stop flashing before it works in which time your poured espresso gets cool.
