This is beautiful looking kettle. I was disappointed from day one that the lid didn’t function well but I’ve persevered due to its good looks and it’s my experience that many modern kettles have a similar issue. Now after only 6 months the kettle is leaking at the base at the decorative metal strip. I may have to give up having a nice looking kettle for something that is robust!

This is our second kitchenaid kettle. For the price point they are quite loud and I can't turn the sound of the on/off button down. Otherwise it does the job.

About This Product

The 1.7 L variable temperature kettle quickly and quietly boils water to the temperature of your choice. Automatic heating technology takes care of boiling your water and automatically shuts off after boiling is complete. ?Its generous size means you can heat water for multiple servings of tea, coffee, cereals and more. It's convenient to fill at the tap with its lid-release button, and you can check the water window to clearly see the water level. A nice chime lets you know when your water has reached the desired temperature for your brew. There's a removable and washable limescale filter that helps to reduce the presence of limescale and a neat cord wrap in the base prevents any excess cord from cluttering up your countertop.
