I wish it was clearer about the assembly. The item is described as “assembly required” like a lot of places, but literally you do have to do all the cutting, drilling and hammering etc. I was expecting a flat pack of pre-cut and drilled boards. Also it arrived with a lot of sawdust in the package. Spend ages to clean. I only found out when my husband was halfway building it, otherwise I would have requested a return. So for the hanging mechanism you fit hangers on the back of the unit, and two metal plates on the wall which will eventually hold the hangers to hang the unit. We had to alter the measurement for where the hangers are, the measurement in the spec doesn’t work. Plus there is no screws or fittings for the metal plates, so we had to pop to B&Q to get them. Anyway two stars is max I could give.
