The O'Plancha combination of griddle and lid can be used daily indoors and outdoors in a variety of ways for fat-free preparation of healthy and balanced meals. The materials are used to preserve the taste and nutrients of the food. With its unique and patented design, it provides a generous, easily accessible frying surface. The lack of a rim makes it easy to turn food over the entire surface with a spatula. The frying surface is enclosed in a recess that catches excess liquid. You can easily soak it up again with the frying juice syringe (included). O'Plancha is suitable for all types of cookers - including induction cookers - and can be used in the oven and even on the grill rack. Thanks to the triple bottom with a heat distributor made of 18/10 stainless steel and aluminium, the frying surface heats up quickly and the heat is optimally distributed so that your food cooks evenly. Unlike a classic pan, O'Plancha has no edges, which means that no heat is lost. With a thickness of 8 mm, O'Plancha is robust and offers greater thermal inertia, regardless of the weight of the food being prepared. The two fixed handles make it easy to transport the griddle from the cooking area to the table. A third handle or any other removable accessory from the Balancia range can be attached to the suspension. Thanks to the lid, O'Plancha offers many different cooking possibilities: With the combination of griddle and lid, pizzas, gratins, fondant chocolate, etc. can be prepared just like in an oven, and through the grate, it also serves as a smoker. The cooking temperature can be monitored by the thermometer in the lid (up to 300° C). Practical: The lid can be held open with the hinge - this keeps the table and work surface clean.
