The Original Morris & Co., Floral Rectangle Placemats (Set of 4)

Lovely placemats, good quality and they finish my kitchen table perfectly

Room for knife and fork as well as plate...blends in with tableware....a lot cheaper than other retailers...good quality

I bought 2 sets of these last year. I previously had Pimpernel place mats which were excellent for well over 10 years but I bought new ones as I had a new kitchen with a different colour scheme. The new mats have been used since last April but the mats have faded badly and discoloured in patches making it difficult to get 6 looking like they are from a set. Some have developed a very yellow background. So disappointed as the previous sets stood daily use for a very long time,

I purchased these because of the described quality of the finish. However, on one mat, staining has occurred and the surface has become damaged! They have been correctly used and cannot understand why the surface has become damaged. I love the design but am disappointed with the damage having only had them a month.

Although I have not opened them as they are a Christmas present, the quality and design looks better than I expected. They are very strong and quite heavy.
