Panasonic 52.5cm 1000W - Watt Recirculating Countertop Microwave

This microwave is an excellent replacement for our previous Panasonic microwave that had provided us with many years of excellent service. It is so easy to use, that the change over was practically unnoticed as the settings were very similar - however, drinks do heat faster, food heats quicker and, we are really delighted with it. So easy to clean, fits in our kitchen beautifully and looks stunning. The only downside is the same issue with all microwaves - the internal light is so dim !! If there is a beverage bubbling away inside, it’s impossible to see it unless we resort to taking a torch to shine through the door. I’m sure there must be a reason why microwave’s internal lights must be so dim - but I’m not bright enough to work out why. Yet, it may just be we are both octogenarians - and our eyesight is simply growing dim….🤣😂😢😘

After 23 years 100% reliable service from my previous Panasonic microwave oven, it was time to change & where else would I look? No contest, it had to be another Panasonic & this particular one was my first choice. Although it has 1000w power, it can changed to 800w or even lower, a great option to have. I hate ovens with rotary controls as the settings are never accurate, so I’m pleased that this oven has straightforward push button controls to provide accurate times. Additional functions for defrosting & reheating are available & to make it easier they provide a useful one page card / guide plus information on the oven door aperture. The oven has a quality feel about it & is considerably lighter in weight than my previous one, handy for moving when cleaning. Maybe it’s all in my head but I’m convinced the food I’ve been heating in the new oven, tastes better.
