Premier Housewares Mesh Food Strainer

Used it a few times now, It is made of decent materials, no gaps or wire sticking out the edges and it's exactly the form factor I was looking for in a sieve. Only issue is it does feel a little flimsy/bendy- for example, pushing potasto through this for smooth mash feels like it could bend the thing out of shape. For most other uses, it works just fine.

I am quite disappointed with this. It is a good inch shallower than my old one with the same diameter, and is not nearly as strong. I have found that it actually bends when I strain some things through it, for example pasta. Also the handle is hard to hold, being only a wire loop, whereas my old one has a solid insert in the loop making it much easier to handle. From my point of view this was quite a lot of money for a very new, shiny but not very robust strainer.
