This kettle lid does not open properly in order to fill it from the tap. It goes up about a quarter of the way and it then requires you to use your hand to push it up all the way, even though there is a button to do it automatically! Not fit for purpose. The kettle is described as Stainless Steel and if you are expecting an enamel type finish, please be aware that it is coated in plastic. There is no reference to this in the product description. To top it all, there is no tick box in the returns process that says that the product is being returned as faulty and there is no phone number to contact Wayfair to assist in the return. There are punitive fees for returning via Evri but no option to pay less with Evri by sending it back yourself. We have bought successfully from Wayfair in the past but this experience is not encouraging us to buy anymore from them. I am currently trying their text service which is also fast asleep at present. I hope that I will be contacted by someone to get this awful kettle back to Wayfair without losing another £6.99 or £10.00 quoted for return postage!!! Dreadful.
