Claussen Bone China Coffee Mug

These mugs are exactly what we were looking for. Just the right size and with a beautiful floral decoration. They have a lovely thin bone china lip; just perfect for english tea. But the disappointment is the glazing quality. Having used the set of 6 for 5 months, it did not take long for the incomplete overglaze to become apparent. 5 of the 6 mugs show that the internal clear overglaze was only covering one side of the inside. This means that tea stains on half of the inside will not wash out in the dishwasher. But this manufacturing fault is only showing on some of the mugs. Wayfair have now offered me a full refund so I will now purchase an new set of these. Hopefully this time the will be more durable.
