The set is very beautifully crafted. It's a wonderful showpiece in your dining or living room. The only issue is its not made in England. It's made in Indonesia. And this is OK as per official Royal Albert bio which you can Google. They've stated about their factory in Indonesia. I wish WayFair revealed this info prior to my buying the product. I may have reconsidered. WayFair only mentioned its "imported". So what are the differences and how do I know? My old mother -senior, retired- has had a set since the 70s perhaps. My sister and I had a WhatsApp video call and we compared in real time. My mother's old set from the 70s - the tea cup has a MADE IN ENGLAND logo on the underside of each item. Mine don't, even though the logos, the color, the flower pattern all match up. It doesn't say MADE IN ENGLAND. 2nd point - the old cup weighed in at 143 grams. Yes we have those small weigh machines for diabetics in the house. Anyway, my cup weight in at 150.4 grams. So 2 key points. All said though, the overall product is still fairly nice and per Google, they do have an Indonesian factory. I would have still liked to be made aware of this fact prior to purchase. WayFair please take note. To summarize, I think its a good buy and they're definitely ornate enough as show pieces.
