Heaton Illuminated Kettle Stainless Steel

I have given this 1 star because when it arrived it smelled extremely strongly of some kind of sealant. The instructions say to fill and boil twice to remove 'dust', I had to fill and boil it around 20 times before both the kettle and the water stopped stinking. I ended up still having to boil my water in a pan whilst now also having to clean the house with my 20 kettles worth of boiling water - I didn't even want to use it for washing up as even the water itself smelt horrid. The amount I spent on boiling all that water I dread to think, but I definitely could have bought a more expensive kettle with the money and saved myself all the hassle. Now that it's clean it seems to function perfectly well and it looks quite smart when it's lit up - but over all I am very unimpressed and certainly will not be buying from this company again.

The design of this kettle is lovely - brushed stainless steel so will go well in any kitchen. It has a water window so you can see how much your putting in therefore saving water in the long run by using only what you need. It illuminates and looks good, however my previous kettle boiled very quickly and this one seems to take some time. Either way it’s still a pretty good kettle and I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice stylish kettle by Russell Hobbs. Very stylish and easy to clean. Boils quickly and it’s pretty quiet when boiling. Holds plenty of water for a large family. Very lightweight and easy to hold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested out this kettle for few weeks now. I received it though Influenster. I love the silver design and it matches my kitchen, I like when it boils its lights up in blue color, I also love the push to open button. Kettle itself is very lightweight, I do think it’s a bit noisier than my previous kettle but look wise I prefer the Russell Hobbs.
