This kettle has a pull up lid for easy refilling, with a 360-degree base and soft touch handle so left or right handed users can comfortably pour drinks. Boil dry protection prevents over boiling if there isn’t enough water to avoid long-term damage. After boiling, the kettle switches off automatically for extra safety, while the on/off switch includes a light that illuminates when in use. Love the look, and it worked as one would hope, but I returned it because it did not sit on it's base securely. Lucky for me, I found one locally, and I absolutely love it. One year old and still going as expected. One thing. My rings are starting the handle to show wear. I will buy another when the wear starts to bother me. It looks beautiful in my kitchen which is almost the same colour.
