Swan Retro 4 Slice Toaster with 7 Browning Levels for Toast, Breakfast Muffins and Bagels, Removable Crumb Trays, Defrost/Reheat/Cancel, Cord Storage, Non-Slip Feet, 1860W

The first toaster didn't work at all. The second is supposed to work using side 2 first, but doesn't - you need to use side 1, despite what the instructions say.

confused that you had to use right hand toast slot before you could use the left hand toast slot

I bought this a few weeks ago and am so pleased with it. This toaster fully toasts the bread, no need to flip the bread halfway through. Setting 3 is the perfect setting for our family. It’s great to do all the children’s toast in one go. Hot cross buns ( sliced) also fit well, but need setting 1.

purchased to replace similar 3 year old model. Looks as nice but is slightly inferior: the 2 left slots can only be depressed when 2 right slots are..previously independent. the machine feels lighter and when attempting to push down right hand side mechanism has to be held =down on top to stop it toppling over..feels flimsy and not sure how well this will funcy=tion long term, as before the toast is ok but not even on both sides. bottom line '''looks very nice but not a superior product for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this toaster. It looks so stylish on the worktop and actually toasts evenly which is all I really want first thing in the morning. I love the retro range, there’s such a great choice of colours and matching products so everything ties in beautifully. Super easy to use, nothing complicated, and the reheat and defrost settings are really handy. Perfect size for everyday use, just a really solid, good looking little toaster.
