Mechanical Kitchen Scale

When I received the original item I found one of the screw and nut would not budge. I asked for a replacement, when the replacement came again the left screw and nut would not budge - after a while I managed to undue the screw and nut. I wonder if other customers found this. Customer service is excellent.
