A tale of two parts… The cupboard itself is great in terms of style and design. Solid and attractive. It only appears to have an undercoat, with the wood grain clearly visible, so a coat of paint is needed to protect and also to give it a finished look. It is sold as a ‘sturdy solid wood build’ but the back panel is hardboard, which may be a standard feature but one we weren’t expecting. The challenge we had was with the delivery. It took almost a month from order to arrival, with three dates provided and ultimately a tracking number that took us to a page that never updated, other than the item had cleared customs. The delivery took place on the final estimated date that we had been given, but having had no update to the live UPS tracking meant no one was in to take delivery. Success the next day when UPS revisited. A lot of disappointing polystyrene packaging to go to landfill, so investment in more sustainable packaging would be sensible. Throughout, the Wayfair customer service team was friendly and helpful, but the waiting and changes to delivery dates were frustrating and stressful for the recipient.

Easy to put together, plenty of space with nice deep drawers.
