I really like the Solitaire Kettle as it goes with my Solitaire Toaster and my Solitaire Set of 3 Cannisters. The downfall of the Kettle however is that the Kettle lid is difficult to open and sticks continuously and have to use my fingernail after 6 attempts at opening it up, mechanism needs looking at.

Item sent promptly. Looks smart & is lightweight. Good that it swivels left to right easily as one of us is left handed. Pours accurately with no spillage, a problem with our previous kettle._x000D_ Excellent price for good product._x000D_

I find it difficult to judge how fill the kettle is when filling. Gauge is behind handle. I think for the guage to be clear of the handle would suit better. I have been caught out with water spitting out when coming to the boil. My routine is for one kettle load is enough for a cup of tea and to fill hot water bottle. Being unable to hold the kettle at a more suitable height on filling due to weak arthritic hands doesn't help with seeing the guage.
