This is the first time I have used a filter system and now am completely sold on the idea. I didn't like the taste of our mains water and was concerned about any additives. After very first using the jug, the taste water better. But a week or so after using it I had a glass of direct tap water and it tasted awful! I guess by then I was thoroughly used to the Brita jug water and really could taste the difference. The Brita filtered water is terrific.
