For the price of this set they are great for having around to use for candles or placing hot drinks on. I would however be careful when placing items down on them as one of ours chipped quite easily. Absolutely adore this bear coaster set! Very heavy and a nice solid piece! Looks much more expensive than it was and comes with x4 coasters with velvet backing to the bear and coasters to prevent marks on tables! Worth every penny and an eye catching piece in the kitchen!.
