Edited to add, had these a few years now. As long as you use non metal tools with then (spoons etc) they are fine. I did a lot of research before buying and finally took the chance and I am glad I did! The first set arrived with chunks out of the bottom but wayfair sent out a new set with no quibble. They were perfect. They are so easy to clean, I even made scrambled eggs without them being stuck to the bottom. The only thing I hate now is being so paranoid to store them haha.. Tracy. This black 5-piece forged carbon steel pan set is the ideal everyday set for your kitchen. Featuring a non-stick coating, soft-touch, and heat-resistant Bakelite handles, these pans are dishwasher safe for your convenience. The set includes two frying pans, a milk pan, plus two saucepans with vented toughened glass lids. These pans are suitable for all hob types including induction. Please note induction hobs heat up very quickly and can deliver extremely high temperatures which are often two or three times that of a typical gas hob. Do not use high or boost settings to heat oil or fat, these settings should only be used for boiling large quantities of water. Reduce the heat as soon as your preferred temperature is reached. We suggest lower heat settings are used as excessive heat will damage the pan and this may not be covered by your guarantee.
