Avoid having a kitchen nightmare with the aluminium Ecocook frypan. Moving away from the traditional non-stick plastic coatings, the frying pan properties are made from minerals with no PTFE or PFOA. This ensures in case of accidentally overheating, the coating will not blister and release toxic fumes into your meal or kitchen. Having a ceramic coating, the heat is more readily conducted, therefore less energy is spent heating the frypan. Ceramic non-stick coating also has exceptional hardness and durability and offers health and ecological benefits. The handles are made from Phenolic resin which are excellent in heat resistance. The design will bring freshness and a touch of colour to your kitchen. So whether your cooking meats, vegetables or fish, the Ecocook frypan is suitable for all hobs, including induction, making this the perfect tool for all your cooking needs.

I love this brand. I bought a set of three years ago and used this one so much that it was getting a bit worn... embarrassing to admit, but in poaching eggs on low low setting, I'd forgotten to turn the heat off and really scorched it more than once. It recovered like a champ and I had a long life of use from it. Recently a house guest scratched a little mar in the coating, so, time for a new one. This new one is very much like the former one from years ago, which pleases me to no end! You're getting your money's worth with this item.. Cynthia. Cool, CA. Wed Jan 15 2020

Tramontina's Professional Frying Pans are designed and manufactured to withstand the rigors of a professional kitchen but can just as easily be enjoyed for cooking in a domestic setting to fry, scramble, sauté and sear your favourite meals. This frying pan is made of aluminium with a satin finished exterior and three layers of PFOA-free non-stick coating on the interior, making it more durable and resistant to abrasion as well as offering superior non-stick qualities and making it easier to clean. The stainless steel handle is riveted for added safety and support and features a removable, silicone, soft-grip glove for versatility and comfort. It is suitable for use on gas, electric and ceramic glass hobs.

Love them. Sorta. Bought a 10 and 12. Performance is great. Feels good in your hand. Only issue I have is that after a few weeks of use there is some pitting and scratching already on the non-stick coating. I cook on a gas stove top, only use silicone or plastic utensils, and I am careful to only use oil or butter (no sprays ), I do not overheat pan and hand wash only. I understand that non-stick pans are not created to last a lifetime. However, This kind of wear so soon, is concerning. I bought these at a reduced price, so I am not that upset by this. However at the original price point, I would be more concerned. I will update in future.. Keith. Memphis, TN. Sun Dec 03 2023
