We are just so so pleased with this set. The dinner plates are exactly what I wanted, a gentle sloping edge that doesnt allow the food to fall off the edge. The bowls are perfect for breakfast, deserts and salads too. The quality of the china is excellent and the suppliers customer service is is first class. These only arrived 2 days ago, but first impressions are really good. They are of a good weight, yet not as thick as some. The plates have quite a deep lip to them, so should be good if you like lots of gravy. The bowls are wide and shallow, ideal for soups, pasta and rice dishes. Really looking forward to using them. They are microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe, and chip resistant. The shape is beautiful, a squashed and squared octagon in effect.
