One bowl now is chipped in a tiny little spot, but we are not careful people, we throw them in the sink and dishwasher so if you actually take care, I don’t see why they would chip. Was very excited to get these plates. They arrived early which was a bonus, but on inspection they could and should have been looked at for any defects. 1plate had a very sharp piece of pottery on the bottom that I had to file down.
