Abstract Set Of 4 Plates

Lovingly sculpted from recycled, organic clay, this set of four Side Plates from the Portmeirion Minerals collection is full of unique texture and detail. Textured underneath and coated with a reactive glaze in a colourway on the inside for a distinctive, one-of-a-kind set.

All four plates were smashed inside the packaging. There was no bubble wrap, just a thin piece of cardboard separating each plate. When I picked up the box it rattled, so I knew the contents were broken before I opened it. The design of the plates, being heavy pottery, makes them more vulnerable to chipping and breaking, so the packaging should be revised. I’m expecting replacements but I’m not confident they’ll arrive in good condition.. Claire. Seaford, GB. Sat May 17 2025
