I already had a 1 litre version of this saucepan, which excels at boiling eggs quickly and efficiently and is very easy to clean. When visiting, my daughter was very impressed by the fact it has a glass lid with a strainer that allows you to drain off water from spaghetti safely through either pouring lip, without removing the lid. So I ordered a 1.5 litre version to be delivered to her house. At a following visit by my daughter-in-law she too was impressed, so i ordered a 1.5 litre saucepan to also be delivered to her house.
