For centuries, cooks have taken advantage of the natural heat retention and redistribution properties of cast iron. Staub builds on this tradition with the enameled cast iron frying pan. Black matte enamel inside and a cooking surface create a culinary advantage for better browning, braising, and roasting. Colourful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction.

Mine is in Grenadine. It is beautiful. I made Sous Vide ribeye steaks last night and seared them in this cast iron pan that I preheated and added olive oil. It was my first Sous Vide steak and it seared beautifully in my Staub Grenadine cast iron pan. I purchased this pan expressly for my Sous Vide searing but I use the pan for other things too like fried potatoes.. Joyce. Cherry Hill, NJ. Sun Mar 10 2019

For the original: Wafer-thin crêpes can be prepared quickly and easily in the cast iron pan with a cast iron handle. The perfect heat distribution on the pan base ensures an even browning of the dough on the entire surface, and the flat rim allows the delicate treats to be safely flipped. The classic for crêpes and thin pancakes is always firmly on the heat source and is easy to handle thanks to the solid wood handle.

This surface is as smooth as it gets and heat is very even from middle to edge. This makes for accurate heating on all areas and cooks the crepe fast and even. Pan is heavy, heavier than you think, so be careful when picking up. However it's the type of pan that will last forever. Pros: Smooth, Even Heating Cons: Heavy. Jake. Murfreesboro, TN. Now is the time to get your hands on our Essence collection. The stay-cool Phenolic handles with matt finish accentuate the crispy clean look, while the Thermolon Infinity ceramic non-stick interior coating, enhanced with diamonds, allows for extreme non-stick performance, quick heating, and extra durability. The collection features a forged body which is made for recycled aluminium (minimum 65%) a coated exterior makes this cookware even easier to clean, plus it looks and works great with our magnificent Magneto induction base.

Presenting the innovative SmartStart technology, the 4.5mm forged aluminium multi-pan enables you to start cooking like a Pro. Perfectly cook a juicy steak by keeping an eye on the indicator tick in the middle of the pan. When it changes to dark red, the optimum temperature of 200 degrees Celsius has been reached, so it is ready for you to add your ingredients. The 6 layer non-stick Aeroglide Ultra interior coating is 15x stronger than standard non-stick coatings. It’s free from PFOA, Lead and Cadmium so you can cook healthy meals without harmful toxins. The grill pan has an Inducto Bonded Steel Base, which uses unique bonded base channels for even heat distribution, preventing hotspots and uneven cooking, while the riveted steel handle provides comfort and easy manoeuvrability. The Aeroglide Ultra non-stick coating is abrasion resistant, so you can use metal utensils without damaging the pan. It is suitable for all hobs, including induction, whilst the Inducto base heats up 25% faster than standard induction bases. It’s also dishwasher friendly for easy cleaning

Unfortunately it didn't live up to what I expected from other Tower pans. Although it is advertised for all hobs including induction it didn't work. When I tested it for iron content in the base using a magnet, the magnet fell off. Tower said it was probably my induction hob at fault. Strange, all other pans worked including some of their own. How you can expect a non magnetic base to work on an induction system is beyond me.. Brian R. Fri May 30 2025
