The kettle is exactly what you would expect it to be. It is light and very quick to boil. There really isn't much to say about the kettle but the delivery is another matter. It is lucky it arrived in one piece as the original packaging had obviously been crushed and there are even tyre marks on the instruction booklet. DHL had obviously repackaged it before delivery. RETRO STYLE KETTLE - all the nostalgia of a vintage kettle in durable, easy-to-clean 18/10 stainless steel with a solid metal whistle for a pure sound. Fast heat up on all types of hob including gas, induction, ceramic, solid plate, halogen and Aga.

I bought this as a replacement for my Heritage kettle that kept peeling along the top where the lid is. It looks really nice on my hob, and I love the whistle which reminds me of my childhood. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t shut itself off like a regular kettle, so you can’t leave it and jump in the shower for instance. That said I knew that when I bought it and have no regrets..
