This cookware is the world's top product for many top chefs, including Paul Bocuse. The piece of cookware is suitable for all hob types, including induction hobs, and can be taken straight from the hob to the table. It is intended for professional and amateur chefs and also for curious beginners who want to discover the advantages of healthy and tasty cuisine.

Staub cocottes are the best you can buy-far superior to Le Creuset in that you don’t have to worry about stained or broken enamel, plastic knobs that crack, break off and have to be replaced, loose fitting lids, etc. Staub lids fit tight, the knobs are secure metal, the handles are easier for large hands, and best of all, the self basting spikes on the lid are where the magic is at. Crisp up the chicken’s skin on the rougher texture in the bottom of the pot, which often has greater surface area than Le Creuset, throw in some root veggies, herbs and maybe a little wine and then put the lid on, pop it into the oven and make it rain!! You can walk away and come back to a perfectly moist bird!! My only issues with this purchase were Wayfair. It was my first time purchasing and it was a Black Friday sale. The pot was advertised at $109 which lured me in, but upon checkout there was a little +120 next to the price! It also wouldn’t take my mailer coupon for 10% off my first purchase. I then called to place the order over the phone and explained what I was seeing with the price, which was now fluctuating before my eyes. She said, “That’s just how our site is built, the tiny plus $120 is correct, and the prices fluctuate constantly. Do you want the pot or not?” She took the 10% off from my coupon and I reluctantly bought the pot, all the while thinking, “This is bait and switch!” My husband and sister couldn’t believe or understand it either! The pot arrived and while it appears to be real Staub, it has numerous visual imperfections which were not advertised. You can get lower priced merchandise on Zwilling’s site that has visual imperfections, but they tell you that up front! Paying over $200, and $120 more than advertised, then receiving a damaged item makes me think my first Wayfair purchase might be my last! The inside of the lid rusted before we’d finished eating the first meal I made in it (chilli, if anyone’s interested). As divided as you may be about this rule, there is one thing we can all agree on when it comes to mussels: They always taste great. And so that the preparation is already the starting point of enjoyment, you need a special shellfish pot with very specific advantages for the preparation of the sea delicacy. Inspired by the shape of a "moule", the design of the cast-iron pot already gives a clear first taste of how it can be used. After opening the lid, all the sophistication of this pot opens up: At the narrow end of the oval, a small area is separated from the large interior by a grid. This area is used to pour in liquids, add spices and test the taste of the stock. This means the delicate mussels do not need to be moved during cooking to make the preparation perfect. Cast iron is ideal for a mussel pot. This material ensures an even distribution of heat across the entire pot. As a result, the mussels are not only heated from below, but the heat comes evenly from all sides. This eliminates the need to stir the mussels as already opened shells can lose their delicious contents. The high heat storage capacity of cast iron also ensures that the heat of the hob can be reduced at an early stage and that the mussels can slowly cook in the stock. With the combination of the advantages of the cast iron material and the integrated "spice corner", the "Moulière" is perfect for the easy preparation of mussels - not only in the months with an "R." The mussel pot has a matte black surface and is coated several times inside and out. The particularly smooth base and the cast iron ensure that it can be used on all types of stoves, including induction, and that even sensitive surfaces such as ceramic fields do not scratch.
