The brown edges as well as the turquoise and crazed surfaces create a unique colour scheme that gives an incomparable impression. The crackle effect, also known as tear varnish, contracts during drying, forming a pattern of tight cracks. This effect gives the bowls a very special depth and gives the dinner service a wonderful, vintage touch.
