It is suitable for use on gas, electric and ceramic glass hobs.

Love them. Sorta. Bought a 10 and 12. Performance is great. Feels good in your hand. Only issue I have is that after a few weeks of use there is some pitting and scratching already on the non-stick coating. I cook on a gas stove top, only use silicone or plastic utensils, and I am careful to only use oil or butter (no sprays ), I do not overheat pan and hand wash only. I understand that non-stick pans are not created to last a lifetime. However, This kind of wear so soon, is concerning. I bought these at a reduced price, so I am not that upset by this. However at the original price point, I would be more concerned. I will update in future.. Keith. Memphis, TN. Sun Dec 03 2023

It's a heavy duty pan, hopefully will last for years. The enamel coating seems a bit thin, but I'll see how it goes. It's much healthier to cook food in this than in non-stick or Teflon pans.. Anonymous. Thu Feb 10 2022

I love this brand. I bought a set of three years ago and used this one so much that it was getting a bit worn... embarrassing to admit, but in poaching eggs on low low setting, I'd forgotten to turn the heat off and really scorched it more than once. It recovered like a champ and I had a long life of use from it. Recently a house guest scratched a little mar in the coating, so, time for a new one. This new one is very much like the former one from years ago, which pleases me to no end! You're getting your money's worth with this item.. Cynthia. Cool, CA. Wed Jan 15 2020

Warm Note: This cast iron cookware comes pre-seasoned with vegetable oil, eliminating the need for additional seasoning. To maintain optimal performance, it requires proper care and attention. Before your first use, clean the cookware with warm soapy water, then dry it on the stove over low heat (around 212°F) and apply a thin layer of vegetable oil. After cooking, wash, wipe dry, and heat it on the stove for 2-3 minutes. A light application of vegetable oil will help prevent rust. With regular use, the non-stick layer will develop, ensuring a smooth cooking surface that resists rust. If you accidentally burn food, avoid harsh detergents or metal brushes, as these can damage the cookware. Instead, use a regular sponge to remove burnt remnants, and dry salt for greasy messes. Do not place cast iron cookware in the dishwasher, as aggressive detergents can cause rust. The more you use your cast iron cookware, the better it performs! Caution: The handle gets hot—use oven mitts or a tea towel to handle it safely.
