I already had a 1 litre version of this saucepan, which excels at boiling eggs quickly and efficiently and is very easy to clean. When visiting, my daughter was very impressed by the fact it has a glass lid with a strainer that allows you to drain off water from spaghetti safely through either pouring lip, without removing the lid.
