I bought this based on its good reviews as an airfryer with glass-bowl, in this case 3 different sized bowls. Other plusses were the first-time buyer discount and free mid-sized bowl. Cooking functions are good with variable temp settings. Food does slide towards the back a bit when the bowl is inserted but it is possible to rearrange through the gap once the bowl is flat in place and before sliding shut. As it’s glass and much heavier, I use more care inserting /removing than the metal drawer-type air fryer. Since the handles unit is not removable, water does linger (leaving water marks) between the glass bottom and its holder base after washing; the most annoying design fault for me. The handle unit also means the bowls cannot sit within the bigger one, even partially, so they have to be stacked on top of each other. Storage thus takes up vertical space. The noise during cooking and loud beeps at programme’s end is ok for me. I liked the relatively low heat dissipation outside the air fryer esp during the heatwave; much less ambient heat than using the oven. My alternative choice was the lower-priced Cuisinart. Comparable overall but lower wattage and reviews of steam coming out through the top of the bowl when in use. I’ve airfried cauliflower, chickpeas, baked potatoes and apples. All good!. S Hay. I was already the proud owner of the Nija Crispi and the Ninja multi cooker but wanted something that could give a BBQ effect indoors due to living in a flat. So far I’ve cooked sausages,bacon,corn on the cob and pizza in this gem of a cooker. Using the grill plate that is included I was surprised how the above items turned out almost as if they were cooked outside. Also due to the size of this cooker I could cook a nine inch pizza in it.
