Looking for glassware that offers the ultimate combination of performance, practicality and durability? The Duralex Picardie collection of Drinking Glasses ticks each of those boxes effortlessly, with a design built on techniques that have made Duralex one of the leading names in glassware for over 70 years. Each piece has been crafted from tempered glass which is heated to ~700°C then suddenly cooled by cold air ventilation. The result is a glass that is more than twice as strong as standard glass, with exceptional resistance to shocks both thermal (sudden changes in temperature) and mechanical (being knocked or dropped). So far, so impressive - so what does that mean for you? Basically, it means that Duralex glassware has been built to cater perfectly for the rigours of even the most demanding modern home or kitchen, for as long as that home or kitchen needs it to. This set comprises Picardie Tumblers - the perfect serving vessel for juices, soft drinks, water, milk and more. The Picardie has been the undisputed flagship of the Duralex brand for 60 years - now found in bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs and cafes around the world. Its iconic silhouette - evoking images of rolling, rippling waters - has been designed to be as pleasant in the hand as it is on the eyes, with soft, subtle ridges that urge its audience to take hold.

The Gaia collection of wine glasses from LAV brings a contemporary twist to traditional glassware, with a striking stemless design perfect for outdoor events and packed-out party venues. While wine traditionalists may scoff at the thought of a stemless glass, there are some scenarios where a tall, top-heavy design proves far more trouble than its worth. Picnics, for example - the eternal search for a plot of parkland level enough to prevent your Pinot toppling over your tuna sandwiches! - or a house party where any surfaces are a) limited, b) small or c) above a carpet which is a very different colour to the contents of the glass! These Gaia glasses serve as the solution to uneven terrain and unsteady elbows alike, thanks to a low centre of gravity that makes them far more resilient against nudges, knocks and tumbles. The classic Burgundy silhouette provides your wine of choice with plenty of room to breathe, bringing the finer bouquets and flavours to the fore and transforming every sip into a tantalising tasting experience!
