The pictures can't compare to the in-person true beauty of these dishes! They are just stunning! I bought these to mix/match with the Vancasso Bonita, solid color plates, also by Vancasso. And I am very pleased. The colors just pop out with the combination. I took pics on my kitchen island and then removed the background to share how pretty they are. Although this is a beautiful set, it was advertised (in the title of ad) to be bone china. When receiving it, I knew immediately that is was not bone china because of how heavy it is. I was even thinking that it was very expensive for bone china, but decided to pay the price because I really wanted something light. When I went to investigate further in the specs, only there does it say that it actually porcelain china, which is heavier and cheaper to make, so I felt rather cheated to pay so much for 12 pieces of porcelain.
