I asked for this as a birthday present as needed a new soup type pan. Used the day after. I like the handles. Easy grip and did not get hot on gas hob even after an hour. Good weight as in not too heavy, but quality seems very good. I did not want a glass lid as my last one of 20 years plus and not as quality didn’t and was great for me. This stock pot is an answer for cooking, baking, grilling, reheating, serving and storing all in one. It is made from porcelain and manufactured from natural raw materials without an artificial non-stick coating. This means that it is free from harmful substances, suitable for allergy sufferers and environmentally friendly. The glazed, sealed surface is especially scratch-resistant, durable and does not absorb any odours, even when subjected to long-term use. Thanks to its patented inductherm® technology, the pot is induction safe and can also be used with all other types of cooker. Unlike conventional cookware, it is oven proof and microwave safe. Since porcelain stores heat much better than stainless steel. This stock pot keeps prepared food warm for up to three times as long as conventional cookware. It combines a base with a lid and can be used as both a cooking pot and a storage container. The base can be used on its own as a serving bowl without the lid. The lid can also be used as a chopping board, serving plate, coaster or dinner plate. The pot is great for storing leftovers in the refrigerator.
