A great home machine with very quiet operation. Initial setup was unclear, so had a leaking reservoir for a while, til I watched the quick start video I had to search for on YouTube and found out I needed to prime the coffee machine prior to use - but the quick start guide made no mention of this.. Simply pour water and espresso grounds into the base, press down with a tamping disc and heat over the hob until it bubbles up at the top for 6 cups of perfectly brewed espresso. I’ve been using the KitchenAid KF6 for a while now and I’m really happy with it. The machine makes great coffee without any hassle — you just pick your drink and it does everything on its own, including grinding the beans and frothing the milk. It’s also surprisingly quiet and feels very solid and heavy, so you can tell it’s built to last. The coffee tastes great, and the customization options let you adjust the strength and size to your preference. Cleaning is easy too, thanks to the automatic cleaning programs, so nothing gets annoying in daily use.
