Perfect for modern day living, this Sophie Conran for White rimmed soup plate, is ideal to serve soups and pasta dishes with a touch of understated elegance.

Lovingly sculpted from recycled, organic clay, this set of four Side Plates from the Portmeirion Minerals collection is full of unique texture and detail. Textured underneath and coated with a reactive glaze in a colourway on the inside for a distinctive, one-of-a-kind set.

All four plates were smashed inside the packaging. There was no bubble wrap, just a thin piece of cardboard separating each plate. When I picked up the box it rattled, so I knew the contents were broken before I opened it. The design of the plates, being heavy pottery, makes them more vulnerable to chipping and breaking, so the packaging should be revised. I’m expecting replacements but I’m not confident they’ll arrive in good condition.. Claire. Seaford, GB. Sat May 17 2025

Each dish has been expertly crafted from natural 100% bamboo and is melamine free. This provides incredible strength and resilience while also enjoying all the inherent anti-bacterial and anti-microbial qualities of the bamboo plant. The star of this particular culinary show, however, is the large "stay put" suction cup - attach to the base of your plate, press down onto the table top or high chair, and relax as the dish remains firmly fixed in place - no more of those social media pictures, thank you very much! Perfectly designed for meals at all times of day, the shallow round design of this plate is perfect for easy feeding, while the heat-resistant properties of bamboo keep tiny fingers protected should they reach out and touch the sides.
