The disc and screw band should be hand washed only and dried immediately. Glass is best for storing/preserving and transporting food and drink. Happy with the jars but not the packaging. Of course you want them to get here in one piece, but a ton of plastic bubble wrap on top of cardboard wadding and a box was too much. Took ages to unwrap and left me with a big pile of non-recyclable bubble wrap the boxes and the cardboard wadding would have been plenty.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026
