The SANAKA Battery LED outdoor light reinterprets the Japanese art of origami. Made from recycled polycarbonate, the light is reminiscent of Japanese tea houses or stone lanterns with multi-storey roofs arranged in tiers. The plastic used is recycled and is characterised by its high resistance and transparency, creating diffuse light refraction and a distinctive look. The surface is matt white and gives the impression that the light is made of folded paper, an origami work of art. At the same time, it is durable and can be used as an outdoor light. The name SANAKA is also derived from Japanese and means, on the one hand, to be in the process of doing something, referring to the constant availability and activity of today's world, and on the other hand, Chisanaka means small house, which is also reminiscent of the design of the small luminaire with its two-storey roof.
