Its angled glass shade diffuses light in all directions and accommodates one 60 W E26 incandescent lightbulb inside (not included).

Very nice light fixture, that is hardwired. Base did not come with it so I ordered it separately and it fits it very nicely. Takes a standard bulb. Perfect size for back deck, bar area, or you can buy a posted adapter to put in your yard to light your path. Definitely recommend.
