Amika 162cm Tree Floor Lamp

I recently bought this lamp but have immediately sent it back due to a design fault which I just couldn't get past and thought I'd share with others as I saw there were no reviews here yet. It's such a disappintment that I had to send the lamp back as it was perfect in every way except this - so if it's something you can oversee, buy this lamp as it's study and looks very stylish.... apart from when it's on! The bulbs are held into place in the three glass globes by cream/white plastic fittings for the bulbs to screw into. When you turn the lamp on and the bulbs light up the glass globes are no longer the reflective effect that they are when the lamp is off, and you can see the bulb and the white plastic bulb holders which look really cheap and spoil the overall aesthetic of the lamp. Considering the rest of the lamp is either black or bronze/gold, why the maker couldn't have spent a little more attention to detail and made the bulb holders the same bronze/gold colour as the outside of the glass globes to create a seamless finish. When the lamp is on it looks cheap as chips! and once you see the plastic holders you cannot unsee them. Plus the exact same lamp appears to be here on Wayfair under another brand for around £69ish rather than this pricey £199 pricetag, what's that all about?? So a firm no from me and it's been returned. I couldn't get a photo of this effect when the lamp was swtched on but I have shared a photo of the plastic bulb screw fitting.
