I bought two of these lights as bedside lights for our newly built bedroom. They are quite attractive although I am a little disappointed because the pull chord is quite cheap and fragile in comparison with the rest of the light. Also, on the product details it states quite clearly that the light is 'dimmable' - our electricians were quite adamant that it is not. I think for the price they are a bit 'tacky' and considering that I wanted dimmable lights for my beautiful new bedroom I am really quite 'underwhelmed'.
