Glass smashed within a few months

Edit i am updating this review almost 1 year from purchase. This lamp is poorly made with faulty wiring. It burns through expensive long-life led filament bulbs every few months. It alternates between uselessly dim and full illumination. Currently, the bulb is barely lit offering no illumination to the space. It now needs to be fully rewired. Extremely disappointing, particularly for such an expensive lamp. I wouldnt recommend this product. Definitely a beautiful lamp and not too imposing like some other arch lamps can be. Its perfect for the corner of my small living room. The materials are beautifully finished and the base is very heavy so confidently topple proof! Only critique would be the finish (or lack of) to the hole in the glass shade where the light fitting emerges. It was quite tricky to fit the shade properly (centrally and flush) while tightening the fixture. There was some audible crunching of glass as it was tightened and had to be repositions several times to be repositioned properly. I ended up turning the fixture 180 degrees upwards so that the same rested in the cradle and that was much easier. However, I havent been able to return the shade lamp head fully to the lowest position as I can hear the glass grinding when I try to move it. Overall very pleased with it and the price on sale. I wouldnt have paid the usual asking price for it. I waited quite some time hoping it would go on sale and it was jusy about worth the price I paid for it. I do love it though.

Absolutely appalling customer service and  lamp that had a defect with the original order, we got a replacement and still had a defect. Unnecessary hassle with terrible service, not worth it.

Lovely sturdy lamp, looks super classy.

Excellent lamp , matches our main light & wall lights. Bit fiddly to set up, but no real issue.. Came brilliantly packled.

Lovely lamp and easy to assemble

Superb quality and I love it. Looks even better than the pictures and not flimsy looking at all. The lamp shade is a great size. Easy to assemble too.
