These are gorgeous ceiling lights that are ideal if you don't like the glare from direct overhead lights. They really scatter the light into gorgeous patterns. That said, you will need extremely strong bulbs - ideally 100 watt (or the LED equivalent of 11 or even 12W) to get even a medium level of light through them as they are so heavily covered by the shade. Look stunning in our kitchen/diner. They are heavy and substantial.
