Installation bit tricky but one of best and yet cheapest fans I’ve bought. Forward and reverse settings mean summer and winter if one of your purposes is white noise to cancel household or other noises for shift workers or just people who are easily disturbed by noises in the night. We now have ceiling fans in all bedrooms and love them

good quality item, well packaged. not used yet but from past experience is a sturdy fan made of quality materials.
